*MY LUCKY 13*
I have been adding books to my TBR pile like CRAZY this year. Its amazing how many new authors you find when you start interacting with writers and reviewers/bloggers!
Because the list is way too long, I am going to focus this post on the actual physical copies of books that are staring at me every day from my dresser top, giving me that accusatory look. And since I plan to read at least 52 books this year, I am going to focus this post on the first thirteen books only.
So, IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER, the first 13 books I plan to read in 2013:
R is a young man with an existential crisis--he is a zombie. Julie is a burst of vibrant color in the otherwise dreary and gray landscape that R lives in. His decision to protect her will transform not only R, but his fellow Dead, and perhaps their whole lifeless world.
Scary, funny, and surprisingly poignant, Warm Bodies is about being alive, being dead and the blurry line in between.

REMEMBER ME / THE RETURN / THE LAST STORY by Christopher Pike
**A quick note about this one: Christopher Pike is the reason I began reading for fun when I was younger. He's also the reason I am such a die hard paranormal fan. I am re-reading some of his best stories so I can see if my daughter is old enough to start them yet. :-)

I have a copy of Remember Me waiting on my bookcase! Pike and Stine were my reading life when I was young and I've been reading a lot of their stuff again. Currently, Red Rain by Stine.

I didn't hear about Warm Bodies until I saw the movie trailer! Then I had to add it to my list of to-reads. Born Wicked looks good. I'll have to check that out.
