Six Sentence Sunday 8-5-12

This is my very first time participating in Six Sentence Sunday! I'm so excited to share a little teaser from my debut novel, EVER - a YA paranormal romance with a ghostly twist.

Frankie wasn't going anywhere, so why should I care if another family moved in next door?
But I did. 
I couldn't pretend it didn't feel like the end of an era or something. 
I'd practically grown up in that house.
My thoughts were interrupted when I saw the new neighbor. 
Suddenly it didn't feel like the end of anything.

    Okay, first off, who's Frankie, and if another family is moving in next door, then where's Frankie?
